Created in 1996, Fundación CRUSA (Costa Rica – United States of America Foundation for Cooperation) promotes sustainable, inclusive, and green growth in Costa Rica through strategic philanthropy and partnership. The foundation has allocated more than $65 million to projects spanning science, technology, education, environment, and local community investment, and has played a prominent role in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Costa Rica and the United States.
