About the fund

The Fibers Fund is an integrated capital vehicle providing flexible debt and grant capital, combined with sector-appropriate business TA, to U.S. farmers, ranchers, and processors working in natural fiber and textile crops (e.g. cotton, flax, hemp, wool, leather, and natural dyes). It deploys low-interest term loans, forgivable loans, and business TA grants to support businesses building regenerative fiber systems and revitalizing textile processing infrastructure–addressing known capital gaps to catalyze growth and meet growing demand for traceable, domestic textiles. Through relational, character-based underwriting, the fund allows underserved fiber entrepreneurs to build traction and unlock traditional forms of capital, with a goal of catalyzing 2x additional financing as businesses scale.
