About the fund
Impact America Fund II is an early-stage, impact-oriented venture capital fund managed by Impact America Fund that deploys equity and equity-related investments to 20–25 tech-enabled companies whose business models advance economic agency, capital access, skills training, wealth building, and inclusive infrastructure for low- and moderate-income communities of color in the United States. With a culturally fluent, Black woman-led team and backing from investors including the MacArthur Foundation, Ford Foundation, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Surdna Foundation, and California Wellness Foundation, the fund targets high-growth opportunities where financial returns and social impact are inherently aligned and provides critical “bridge” capital from Seed toward Series A/B to attract broader commercial participation. Impact America Fund II serves as a demonstration of catalytic capital’s role in creating a scalable blueprint for deploying investment into under-resourced markets and fostering equitable, inclusive economic participation at scale.
