About the fund

The Investor Pathways Capital initiative is a fund-of-funds and GP stakes vehicle established by the British Business Bank with $625 million in committed capital to expand access to investment for underrepresented and emerging fund managers. Operating across Europe, the initiative deploys capital through two primary mechanisms: direct commitments to diverse-led fund managers and seeding of microfunds led by diverse founders via the bank's enterprise capital funds program. The strategy addresses structural gaps in fund manager diversity by channeling institutional capital to emerging managers who face barriers to fundraising and capital access. By combining fund-of-funds and GP stakes approaches, the initiative seeks to build a more inclusive early-stage investment ecosystem while generating competitive returns for limited partners.
