About this Role

We are seeking an Investment Associate with a passion for climate change and sustainability to join our supportive team, offering long-term growth prospects. The role allows you to work across various geographies and renewable technologies, including an advanced pipeline of projects. Collaborating with experienced investment professionals, you will gain valuable experience and contribute meaningfully to our renewable energy missions. Primarily focused on the solar PV and BESS team, your work will involve projects in Germany and Poland, requiring monthly travel to Berlin and Warsaw as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and update financial and valuation models for projects at different lifecycle stages.
  • Undertake analysis to support investment decisions and perform sensitivity and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with finance team members to align templates and processes.
  • Support development activities such as negotiation of land lease contracts and planning applications.
  • Assist in evaluating new investment opportunities and preparing Investment Committee papers.
  • Coordinate Investment Committee meetings and support team processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in discounted cash flow and valuation modelling over 2-3 years.
  • Relevant work experience in renewables, infrastructure, or investment sectors.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm as a team player and problem-solving ability.
  • Have a personal interest in renewables and climate change.
  • Show initiative and adaptability within a dynamic environment.
