Candidates will work in close collaboration with the Managing Director and the Senior Program Manager to execute program administration and communication. The role involves supporting the GSLI’s Minor Degree program, requiring an organized problem-solver with an entrepreneurial mindset. The Senior Administrative Associate will engage in various activities, from processing expenses and supporting events to managing communications and branding efforts. This includes facilitating GSLI documents, coordinating with partners, and actively participating in student organization support. Candidates should expect to provide comprehensive event and program support, including logistical planning and execution, as well as operational contributions to GSLI’s sustainability minor and other related duties.
Responsibilities
- Process expense authorizations, purchase requests, and reimbursements.
- Provide administrative support for the SIIF internship fund.
- Organize and manage GSLI documents via UT Box and Google Drive.
- Support affiliated student organizations in booking rooms and ordering materials.
- Schedule meetings and manage calendar invitations.
- Represent GSLI at academic fairs and events.
- Manage branded products and social media mentions.
- Compile and design GSLI’s newsletter, The Innovator.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of program coordination experience; or seven years with a High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to manage complex calendars and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
