About this Role

This role demands a highly driven and strategic leader to spearhead Government Relations at Fuse, influencing the regulatory framework crucial for Fuse’s global advancement. The candidate will engage closely with the founders and senior leadership to position Fuse as a frontrunner in decentralized clean energy. The candidate will actively shape and implement policy strategies and foster senior government relationships to drive the company’s mission forward in diverse markets like the UK, US, and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Lead government, regulatory, and policy strategies across various markets.
  • Build and manage high-level relationships with governmental and regulatory bodies.
  • Shape and respond to consultations and legislative developments.
  • Navigate incentives and policy frameworks to accelerate renewable projects.
  • Support development strategies for various large-scale energy assets.
  • Advise on emerging energy policies and trade developments.
  • Prepare policy analysis and insights for senior decision-makers.
  • Represent Fuse in public forums and strategic conversations.
  • Own key regulatory initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in government relations, policy, or public affairs (energy experience preferred).
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes efficiently.
  • Strong network within government and industry institutions.
  • Adaptability to learn quickly and manage multiple contexts.
  • Capability to work independently or collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Highly operational mindset with attention to detail.
