About this Role
The ESG Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving Nyrstar’s sustainability strategy. The position requires delivering high-quality, audit-ready ESG insights that support smarter, compliant reporting. In this role, the analyst will support Nyrstar’s ESG strategy and sustainability reporting with a strong emphasis on compliance with ESG frameworks. The role involves consolidating and benchmarking data to deliver quality datasets for reporting. Responsibilities
- Support Nyrstar’s ESG strategy and sustainability reporting, ensuring compliance with ESRS and CSRD requirements.
- Consolidate, validate, and benchmark ESG data for audit-ready datasets.
- Develop and enhance data governance and tooling for improved ESG reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate across departments to align ESG metrics with operational plans and goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in data collection systems for evolving reporting needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in ESG data management or sustainability reporting.
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks (e.g., ESRS, GRI, CSRD, CDP, TCFD, GHG Protocol).
- Proven ability to prepare and validate data for audits.
- Experience with ESG data tools/platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Skilled in automated data workflows for ESG reporting.
- Familiarity with European sustainability regulations and reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
