About this Role

As a Finance Associate at Patria Investments, you will be an integral part of our finance team, based in our Medellín office. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and high-performance environment, where you will interact closely with senior leadership and contribute to strategic initiatives across various geographies. The successful candidate will lead and manage relationships with external valuation providers, ensuring that the monthly asset valuations are accurately performed and reported. You will be responsible for preparing detailed reports for corporate governance bodies regarding the asset valuation processes and coordinating relationships with internal and external control entities. Additionally, this role involves providing accounting instructions to fiduciary entities and ensuring the correct application of these instructions in line with current regulations and the fund’s bylaws. You will also be tasked with developing automations to enhance process efficiency and reduce risk levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the relationship with external valuation providers.
  • Coordinate and analyze valuations performed by external parties for each asset.
  • Prepare reports for corporate governance bodies regarding the asset valuation process.
  • Coordinate relationships with internal and external control entities regarding valuation processes.
  • Provide accounting instructions to fiduciary entities regarding the valuation process.
  • Lead the relationship with the Management Company related to the Viva Malls portfolio management.
  • Ensure Financial Statements reflect the economic reality of operations.
  • Develop automations to reduce risk levels and improve process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial functions, valuation, and accounting matters.
  • Expected Education: Administrative Engineering, Business Administration, Specialization in Finance.
  • Specific Knowledge: Database Management (advanced Excel, Power BI, Access, AI, among others).
  • Proficiency in Digital Optimization and Accounting.
