About this Role
We are seeking a strategic and mission-driven Program Director to spearhead our Home Energy Loan Program (HELP) and the HELP Fund. The Director will guide the growth and performance of these community-centric programs, working closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The role demands a leader adept at combining financial oversight with team leadership while sharing our commitment to empathetic lending and community-based investments. The Home Energy Loan Program (HELP) offers 2% interest loans to facilitate home energy upgrades, enhancing safety, health, and efficiency. This initiative not only provides financial assistance but also delivers comprehensive project management and incentives aimed at financial empowerment and literacy. The HELP Fund, the first of its kind in Hudson Valley, accelerates the transition from fossil fuels by offering investment opportunities that fortify local resilience and build community wealth, targeting low- and moderate-income households.
Responsibilities
- Steward the overall vision, strategy, and execution of HELP and the HELP Fund.
- Translate program goals into actionable plans ensuring scalability and sustainability.
- Oversee the lifecycle of the HELP loan program, including underwriting and servicing.
- Manage the HELP Program Manager and team, cultivating a collaborative culture.
- Partner with senior leadership to diversify fundraising strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with investors, donors, and partners.
- Manage the HELP Fund’s financial operations with accuracy and diligence.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with banking and community agencies.
- Serve as Compliance Officer for HELP and Fund activities.
- Contribute to the development of impact metrics and consistent reporting.
Requirements

- Significant experience in lending, finance, or banking, including loan program management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in portfolio management and risk assessment.
