About this Role
As an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Analyst at Plastipak, you will play an integral role in supporting the company’s sustainability initiatives and maintaining its position as a global leader in sustainable plastic packaging. Your role involves managing data and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with international environmental standards, and collaborating closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. In this position, you will be responsible for conveying complex sustainability metrics to varied audiences, transforming quantitative data insights into actionable insights for strategic decision-making. Responsibilities
- Manage the data and Sustainability Reporting for customers and third parties, including CDP, Ecovadis, and GRI.
- Collaborate with Sustainability Champions to ensure company-wide adherence to sustainability goals.
- Keep abreast of legislation and the regulatory landscape to maintain subject matter expertise.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create and distribute internal and external Sustainability Communications.
- Work closely with customers to conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Sustainability Presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of two years of practical experience in Sustainability preferred.
- Passion for global environmental sustainability.
- Strong data management and reporting skills.
- Superior writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with expert-level Excel.
- Proficiency with SAP.
