About this Role

NYU School of Law’s Grunin Center for Law and Social Entrepreneurship is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Associate. This full-time position offers an opportunity to become an integral part of a movement that aims to create novel ways for law and legal practitioners to effect positive changes. The ideal candidate will manage operations to expand the Center’s programming, working under the direct supervision of the Executive Director. The Program Associate will collaborate with faculty, staff, fellows, and a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver engaging events, provide adept financial management, and drive effective communication strategies. This role is pivotal for supporting the Center’s mission to use legal approaches as tools for advancing social entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations and administration for conferences and events.
  • Setup and manage Whova for annual conferences.
  • Edit and post event video content.
  • Conduct monthly and annual finance-related tasks, including reconciliations and reimbursements.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and manage communications via MailChimp and LinkedIn.
  • Update digital platforms and manage the Center’s online presence.
  • Organize and update the Monday board for Center activities.
  • Liaise with NYU’s administrative offices and manage travel arrangements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing administrative activities and multiple priorities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in software tools like Monday.com and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for social entrepreneurship and legal innovation.
