About this Role
Fresh Ventures is seeking an Impact Venture Builder to spearhead the support for, and drive the success of, ventures within the studio. The role involves working closely with venture teams from validation stages through to obtaining significant funding, ensuring strong foundations and strategic growth. In addition to strategic involvement, the Impact Venture Builder will aid in refining and enhancing Fresh’s venture building methodologies, encompassing new forms of business infrastructure, development templates, and partnerships. The purpose-driven role combines internal and external resource mobilization to ensure venture success and evolution. Fostering transformative entrepreneurial environments, the Venture Builder will nurture innovative approaches that redefine ownership and financial ecosystems within startups, contributing to both their growth and their capacity to instigate change.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with ventures from validation to first rounds of significant funding — ensuring foundations are solid.
- Help shape teams’ strategy, product development, customer development, fundraising, and partnership building.
- Pull in external resources that can lead venture teams to succeed.
- Shape further Fresh’s venture building approach, infrastructure, templates, and business development.
- Deliver key expertise within the pre-studio program.
Requirements
- Successfully launched (a) venture(s).
- Experience in taking ventures from validation to early product-market fit.
- Significant contribution to the commercial growth of start-ups.
- Led fundraising efforts for impact-driven start-ups.
- Comfortable with design thinking and iterative development methods.
- Impact-driven mindset with a passion for venture building.
