The Legal Counsel position at Incofin IM is a pivotal role aimed at delivering comprehensive legal advice across various domains, including fund management, private debt, private equity, and new product development. Responsibilities
- Design legal structures for financing transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for debt transactions.
- Provide both pre- and post-signing support.
- Collaborate with investment and investor solutions teams on new funds and products.
- Offer legal and transactional advice for private equity deals.
- Assure the legalities of investment and divestment transactions.
- Develop action plans for collections and workout activities.
- Supply day-to-day legal support on corporate matters.
- Advise on terms and structuring related to funds and facilities.
- Manage relations with regulators to obtain necessary approvals.
Requirements
- Master of Laws from a top-tier university with an excellent academic record.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, investment funds, or corporate M&A.
- Professional experience in an international context is essential.
- Proficiency in English (Minimum TOEFL score of 104 or IELTS score of 7.5, if not a native speaker).
- Additional language skills, particularly in French, are a plus.
