Responsibilities
- Align financial strategy with the organization’s environmental mission.
- Manage the endowment, ensuring risk, return, and performance align with goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audits.
- Collaborate with the Board’s Finance Committee and investment advisors.
- Oversee HR, compliance, IT, and risk management.
- Ensure efficient and resilient operational systems.
- Lead and mentor the operations team to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A decade or more of finance and investment experience.
- Preferably CPA or CFA credential.
- Expertise in endowment management and financial reporting.
- Proven track record in making financial recommendations to senior leaders.

- Experience in environmental or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
- Background in public accounting or small-business operations is desirable.
