Palatine Private Equity, based in Manchester, U.K., reached a £75 million ($92.5 million) first close of a £100 million fund. The firm is reportedly looking for impact investments of £10 million or less for the fund. It did not release details on the target impact metrics for the new fund. Palatine publishes a set of “working principles” around the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in its investments. Palatine is typically a regional investor, making £10 million to £30 million commitments.
