About this Role
The Senior ESG Analyst at Novata will be a key player in the recently launched Novata Advisory team, working across various internal groups to deliver high-quality outputs for diverse client engagements. In this role, the analyst is expected to make significant contributions to the creation and delivery of insights while supporting the strategic goals of investor and corporate clients. This position is primarily non-client-facing, concentrating on backend tasks essential to clients’ ESG needs. The successful candidate will be immersed in a dynamic work environment, levering innovative data solutions and comprehensive ESG strategies. By aligning with Novata’s mission-driven objectives, the analyst will aid in evolving ESG solutions that align with contemporary standards, enhancing the overall client experience and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Support Novata Advisory team in crafting ESG solutions such as strategy development, data analysis and translation, and performance improvement.
- Research and monitor evolving ESG trends including frameworks, standards, and regulations.
- Develop content tailored for internal and external purposes including thought leadership items and educational assets.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in ESG consulting or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in analyzing complex datasets and crafting strategic narratives.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data visualization tools.
- High motivation with a problem-solving and proactive mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
