About this Role
Are you looking to help lead the growth and expansion of a mission-focused business scaling impact investing throughout the private wealth and charitable sectors? CapShift is seeking a Managing Director of Marketing and Growth to accelerate our Marketing, Sales, and Client Engagement efforts and to join our leadership team in shaping Product Strategy. CapShift offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment where you will help lead our brand’s development, refine our messaging, and enhance our product naming as the business evolves. You will supervise product and sales messaging to ensure it meets the needs of clients and prospects, manage the marketing team and budget, develop marketing campaigns, produce engaging content, and provide marketing support across various client segments.
Responsibilities
- Be the steward and visionary behind CapShift’s brand, refining messaging, product naming, and the overall look and feel as the business grows.
- Develop marketing campaigns to attract and engage financial professionals and philanthropic leaders.
- Create and distribute content to help CapShift’s financial and philanthropic professional clients grow and delight clients.
- Support institutions serving donor advised fund providers, financial advisors, and charitable institutions.
- Manage the marketing team consisting of a Sr. Manager, a Fellow, and an open Associate role.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Business Development Team to ensure our messaging resonates and marketing tools are effectively utilized.
- Oversee high-quality local events and conference strategies for business development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial services.
- Experience in a customer-facing role and managing deliverables.
- Proficiency with web-based analytics and promotional tools.
- Exceptional writing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high growth, flexible startup environment and take on multiple responsibilities.
- Proactive, thoughtful, self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and effective in cross-functional communication.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, MarketingCloud, and High Velocity Sales is desired.
