About this Role

The Climate Solutions Program Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the Climate Solutions Collaborative at Confluence Philanthropy. Charged with aligning investor practices with climate solutions, this role involves extensive collaboration with members, convening key events, and building influential relationships with policymakers and stakeholders. The position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for creativity, networking, and professional growth, suitable for a driven mid-career professional passionate about climate finance and sustainable investment practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with members to curate climate content for annual events.
  • Plan and execute additional gatherings presenting innovative climate solutions.
  • Present at relevant conferences and meetings.
  • Work with advisory committees to enhance Collaborative programming.
  • Manage and cultivate member relationships and engagement.
  • Lead the development and submission of grant proposals and reports.
  • Oversee communication strategies including reports and social media.
  • Stay informed on climate finance trends to produce timely analytical briefs.
  • Track capital flows to map achievements and future objectives.
  • Create compelling presentations in collaboration with communications teams.

Requirements

  • MBA or graduate degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years in climate finance or policy.
  • Proven experience in event organization.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated work style.
  • Ability to foster relationships with investment experts and industry leaders.
  • Experience working in small teams with limited support.
  • Leadership skills with emotional and social intelligence.
  • High discretion in professional and personal affairs.
