About this Role
The Analyst at Arctaris Impact Investors will join a dynamic and experienced investment team in a 2-year analyst program, starting September 2024. This role encompasses various responsibilities including screening new investment opportunities, building financial models, conducting market and business due diligence, and contributing to portfolio management and operational projects. High-performing analysts have the potential for promotion as they engage comprehensively in deal structuring and execution, managing portfolio companies, and supporting cross-functional operations such as fundraising and strategic initiatives. The position requires working in-office in Wellesley, MA, at least three days a week, providing an opportunity to collaborate closely with senior members of the firm and other team members across the country.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed industry and business financial models, including economic forecasts and growth projections
- Support deal teams through screening, structuring, due diligence, business analysis, valuation, negotiation, and execution stages
- Draft deal overviews, investment memorandums, term sheets, and impact theses
- Prepare comprehensive financial models, analyses, and return recommendations for investment targets
- Conduct detailed industry and sector analysis and manage third-party service providers during due diligence
- Assist in managing Arctaris investment portfolios and strategic growth projects for portfolio companies
- Participate in key portfolio company initiatives, including board meetings, budgetary planning, and oversight of portfolio company performance
- Support investor relations, fundraising, marketing, internal operations, and special projects
Requirements
- Strong financial modeling capabilities with experience underwriting investment deals
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate investing, transaction advisory, or management consulting
- Impact-driven and committed to achieving economic, social, and environmental impact outcomes through investment
- Builds and maintains trust through honest and transparent communication

- Willing and able to execute on projects with limited guidance
