This role requires a professional who is passionate about sustainable finance and impact investing and possesses the expertise to identify emerging market trends. The manager will engage senior institutional investors and asset managers, as well as translate industry developments into high-quality conference agendas and thought leadership content. The successful candidate will work independently, taking ownership of responsibilities while contributing proactively to the team. They will conduct in-depth market research to pinpoint relevant topics, leverage their network to recruit top speakers, and play a leading role in driving investor attendance at events. Additionally, the role involves creating and copywriting content for various marketing and thought leadership initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality conference agendas that address the most pressing issues facing the impact investing market.
- Conduct in-depth interviews with C-suite executives to understand market challenges, risks, opportunities, and emerging trends in impact investing.
- Create engaging session formats that facilitate meaningful discussions among senior industry participants.
- Set and maintain timelines and priorities for conference programming to ensure effective delivery.
- Identify, engage, and recruit leading institutional investors, asset owners, and industry experts as speakers.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, asset owners, and industry specialists.
- Work with strategic partners and industry organizations to increase participation and strengthen industry engagement.
- Expand Phenix Capital Group’s network within the global impact investing ecosystem and identify opportunities for market expansion and partnerships.
- Maintain relationships with sponsors and manage their speaking opportunities and participation.
- Support marketing and audience development initiatives through content creation and strategic messaging.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all conference content and communications.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working in the financial industry or investment management (mid-level role).
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field.
- Passion for impact investing and sustainable finance.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple team members and manage several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly identify relevant information.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior executives.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Experience creating content and copywriting to support marketing efforts is an advantage.
- Experience with website and CRM management tools (e.g., HubSpot).
