About this Role

Broadstreet Impact Services is looking for a Senior Associate to join their NMTC originations team. The Senior Associate will play a crucial role in deploying NMTC equity and allocation, ensuring that investments align with the impact and strategic goals of both Broadstreet and its investors. The role involves a comprehensive evaluation and management of a pipeline of potential NMTC transactions, focusing on program eligibility, community development alignment, and financial viability. The successful candidate will conduct in-depth underwriting, performing due diligence on real estate projects and financial structures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with evaluating and managing a pipeline of NMTC transactions.
  • Review and underwrite financing applications.
  • Evaluate financial structures and models.
  • Conduct due diligence on real estate projects.
  • Prepare and present investment memos for advisory committees.
  • Stay current with evolving NMTC industry issues and trends.
  • Communicate issues and trends to team members.

Requirements

  • Commitment to working in under-resourced communities.
  • 3+ years of credit and underwriting experience.
  • Experience preparing investment memorandums.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
