About this Role
Blackstone Energy Transition Partners’ Senior Associate will have a pivotal role in evaluating investment opportunities within the energy transition sector. The role involves deep analysis of potential investments, acquisitions, and exit opportunities, with continuous monitoring of the portfolio companies. A significant part of the job is direct involvement in due diligence processes, valuation analyses, and negotiations of contracts. The position demands rigorous investment research, deal screening, and evaluation. The Senior Associate will collaborate closely with both internal and external advisors and lead due diligence related to business, industry, regulatory, ESG, and market factors. They will also aid in preparing investment memoranda and be part of investment opportunity origination, idea generation, and contract negotiation. Collaboration with senior management, particularly during board meetings, to enhance operational efficiency and growth strategies of portfolio companies is essential. Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential investments and acquisitions in the energy transition sector.
- Direct involvement in transaction due diligence and valuation analysis.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in financial analysis for investment opportunities.
- Experience evaluating financial statements and advising on M&A transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Experience with FactSet and CapitalIQ tools.
