About this Role
A leading company in the luxury industry is seeking a dynamic Sustainability Consultant to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainability, contributing to the evolution of industry standards and practices. As a Sustainability Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our client’s ESG+ framework and sustainability initiatives. You’ll work across environmental, social, and governance topics, partnering with a range of luxury brands to enhance their sustainability impact. Your role will involve assisting in maintaining and evolving the ESG+ assessment framework and the Butterfly Mark certification. You will support client acquisition and growth by effectively communicating the value of our sustainability products and services. You will also conduct research to stay ahead of sustainability trends and regulations, providing insightful data analysis to inform your efforts. Collaborating closely with the Client Success team, you will guide clients through assessment processes and improve their sustainability performance. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining comprehensive guidelines and best practices for sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of the ESG+ assessment framework.
- Help drive business growth through client acquisition and delivery.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to provide valuable insights.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
- Develop and update sustainability policies, guidelines, and educational resources.
Requirements
- Degree in a natural or environmental science discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in sustainability, either in-house or at an agency.
- Proficiency in data analysis.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, CSRD, ISSB).
- Advanced Excel capabilities.
- Passionate about sustainability with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
