Private Equity Associate Position Overview:

Seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join the team as a Private Equity Associate focusing on impact investing in the clean energy space. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both finance and sustainability, with a proven track record of executing successful investments and driving value creation within the private equity realm.


Private Equity Associate Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos, financial models, and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
  • Support deal execution processes, including negotiation, structuring, and documentation.
  • Monitor and manage existing portfolio companies, working closely with management teams to drive growth and operational improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in the clean energy sector.


Private Equity Associate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity, with exposure to renewable energy or sustainability-focused investments.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel; familiarity with valuation techniques and investment analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated passion for impact investing and sustainability, with a deep understanding of the clean energy landscape.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
