Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated, Dutch-speaking intern to support our team in various new and on-going working groups, for a period of at least 6 months. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in impact investing and/or sustainable finance and excellent organization skills. At the NAB, we want our interns to contribute in a meaningful way. We offer the opportunity to have a hands-on experience. We are a small team, and we help each other in what we can, so you will be able to explore and develop different skills.

 

Task and Responsibilities

1 Support ongoing projects and working groups

  • Assist managing and maintaining relationships with working groups and Dutch our members and stakeholders: (social) enterprises, impact fund managers, financial institutions, institutional investors, family offices, NGOs, networks, universities, policy makers;
  • Assist in collecting and analysing data and coordinate ongoing working groups;
  • Support with development and management of projects and working groups.

2 Support daily activities

  • Assist in organization and taking care of practical arrangements within the NAB and NAB members;
  • Support the team in meetings, preparing presentations, and writing documents;
  • Execute administrative tasks such as updating budget and financial administration.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a Dutch university (preferably in a field relevant to this position: Finance, Business, or Economics);
  • Genuinely interested in impact investing, sustainable finance and/or a related topic;
  • Proactive, autonomous and flexible;
  • Fluent in Dutch (both spoken and written). Non-Dutch-speaking candidates will not be considered. Fluency in English is highly valued;
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Creative and curious;
  • Able to work in a (intercultural) team;
  • Enthusiastic to work in multi-stakeholders and multi-cultural environments;
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Package.
