About this Role

Schroders is seeking an experienced professional to join their Investment Services Platform Team (ISPT). The role involves managing the day-to-day support and services for the central investment platform, Aladdin by BlackRock Solutions (BRS). The candidate will handle inquiries related to Aladdin, ensuring prompt and effective issue resolution while working closely with BRS. This role demands excellent crisis management skills and the ability to multitask efficiently. The ISPT team, a central function within Operations, supports the Investment, Dealing, and Operations functions and collaborates across Schroders to drive business changes. The team aims to stimulate growth, support daily operations, enhance operating models, manage risks, and streamline business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day service contribution and support supervision of Aladdin with the third-party supplier BRS.
  • Handling second-line Aladdin-related inquiries globally with a primary focus in the EMEA region.
  • Troubleshooting user inquiries and directing them appropriately.
  • Addressing issues/incidents related to Aladdin and coordinating with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Being the primary point of escalation to BRS for critical business issues.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and enhancing team members’ skills.

Requirements

  • Experience within the front office environment of an asset management firm.
  • Solid understanding of the fund management business and Order/Trade workflow.
  • Technical proficiency and understanding of a broad range of investment products.
  • Proven capability to define and document business problems in a complex investment environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity to operate under pressure.
