About this Role

Viridan Group is actively seeking Investment Banking Associates to join their dynamic team. As an integral part of the firm’s growth, these positions offer a unique opportunity to contribute to a burgeoning boutique investment banking platform. New hires will play a pivotal role in client transactions, financial analysis, and strategic advisories, with an immediate start date. The role promises a collaborative environment, working alongside senior banking officers and professionals to drive impactful financial solutions in the Power, Energy, and Infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior banking officers and professionals, participating in client transactions, projects, or assignments as a junior member of the Investment Banking team.
  • Analyze and formulate sophisticated financial data and models for client proposals and strategic plans.
  • Prepare presentations, valuation materials, and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals.
  • Evaluate the company’s financial performance relative to overall industry and market trends.
  • Maintain client relations throughout the deal execution period, developing expertise in M&A, Debt, & Equity transactions.

Requirements

  • Keen interest in gaining knowledge about the Power/Renewables/Energy sector.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed individual.
  • Strong client management and interpersonal skills.
  • Preference for candidates with an advanced academic degree and/or industry experience.
