The Opportunity

The Investment Reporting Analyst will own the investment reporting function within the Data Analytics and Reporting department. As a cross-functional role, this will includes project management and coordination with various stakeholders, all leveraging in-depth knowledge of ImpactAssets’ investment management systems.

This is a full time, remote position and can work from anywhere in the US with work hours largely aligning with Eastern Standard Time with some flexibility.  As a remote, people-first culture, we care deeply about our team members’ connections to one another and as such, travel 2-3 times per year to company events will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Management System (IMS)

·       Train team members for self-service reporting capabilities and basic reporting view creation
·       Become system knowledge expert to inform internal investment analysis and client reporting decisions
·       Support the IMS system administrator by managing user permissions and data access, new reporting templates, portal access and the development of custom attributes required for reporting
·       Manage onboarding of client investment data needed to establish cyclical reporting

Investment Reporting

·       Manage, execute, and deploy investment reporting requested through prioritized queue
·       Be a thought partner for data capabilities and structure of deliverables related to investment reporting
·       Ensure data integrity in client and firm investment reporting deliverables
·       Deliver established cyclical client reporting on the schedule set with stakeholders
·       Scale up the front office investment reporting portal through additional client access and increasing the sophistication of data and analysis available on the site

System Liaison Support

·       Serve as business analyst and power user for Investment Management system and DAF administrative system, helping to set requirements and test new features as enhancements are made to systems
·       Troubleshoot issues and communicate with system users
·       Support IA team members with questions or feedback on system functionality

Other

·       Serve as backup for business intelligence function
·       Assist with data needs for system implementations within the organization. Other ad hoc duties as required

 

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

·       3-5 years of experience working in a financial services or investment operations and accounting, and bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
·       Experience executing independently, prioritizing competing demands, and producing high quality deliverables
·       1-2 years of experience in people or project management
·       Experience with alternative asset data or investment performance reporting highly desired

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

·       Strong Excel skills required and ability to interface with various technology systems
·       Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams required.
·       Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration tools Box and Asana preferred.
·       Experience working in a virtual working environment preferred

·       Flexibility and willingness to work in a virtual team environment
·       Ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands
