Impact Ventures works to remove the social and economic barriers for BIPOC communities to building generational wealth through inclusive entrepreneurship and integrated capital. IV provides mentorship, training and education through our flagship accelerator cohort programs and deploys flexible debt and patient equity capital through our Inclusive Capital Fund.

The Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital and social media strategies, managing social media accounts, and driving engagement and growth for our brand. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our digital marketing campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, content creation, video creation, analytics, and a strong passion for staying current with industry trends.

This role is located in Dallas, TX and will require some short-distance travel around the DFW metro-plex to various activities as requested. The role reports directly to the Director of Philanthropy & Strategic Partnerships.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and conversion across various online channels (e.g. website, email, social media, search, display advertising).
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive social media strategies tailored to the real estate industry to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth across various platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok).
  • Content Creation: Create and curate high-quality, engaging content that aligns with our brand identity, including text, image, and video content. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure compelling visuals.
  • Platform Management: Manage and maintain the brokerage’s social media profiles on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant networks.
  • Community Management: Build and maintain a strong online community, engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and addressing customer inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Content Calendar: Develop and manage a content calendar that ensures consistent, timely posting of content, considering seasonality and trends.
  • Online Fundraising and Brand Management: Plan and execute brand awareness and fundraising campaigns on platforms like Google Ad Network, Facebook Ads, and others, utilizing paid and organic strategies. Monitor and optimize campaign performance.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of digital and social media efforts using key metrics. Provide regular reports to the marketing team and ownership.
  • Audience Research: Continuously research and understand the target audience, industry trends, and competitor activities to inform content and strategy.
  • Social Media Tools: Stay up to date with social media management and analytics tools. Utilize these tools to streamline processes and enhance performance.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years working experience in social media with previous experience within the real estate industry preferred, but not required.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, trends, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, Google Analytics and SEO tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities; takes initiative, detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multi-cultural competency as it relates to digital marketing
  • Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in social media and digital marketing
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
